It’s been another difficult campaign for Chelsea, with few positives, but one shining light has been the performances of Conor Gallagher.
The 24-year-old has stepped up this season and established himself as a key player for Mauricio Pochettino, with the midfielder ever present in the Chelsea midfield.
Gallagher’s future at Chelsea remains uncertain given his contract expires in 2025 and talks have yet to begin over a new deal.
The Cobham graduate has been linked with a move to rivals Tottenham, whilst Newcastle also reportedly hold interest in the England international.
Gallagher has expressed his desire to stay at Chelsea, whilst Pochettino has also expressed it’s his wish for the midfielder to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.
Blues legend Terry shared his thoughts on Gallagher whilst on Simon Jordan’s podcast, with the 43-year-old describing Gallagher as a “very good player”, and praised him for pushing and driving the team forward.
