Three Chelsea players likely to join team against Man U – but team needs total mentality shift

It’s going to take a couple of days to digest this stinging defeat to Burnley, but after that there’s no time to waste. Chelsea are back in action on Thursday and again on Sunday next week.

Two games will give us the chance to move on quickly, but how do we get good results? What changes can Mauricio Pochettino make? We hope to have Trevoh Chalobah and Carney Chukwuemeka back from injury, and both of them feel like they have a good chance of returning to the team, as does Ben Chilwell at left back.

But will those 3 simple subs give this team the fight and desire they lacked yesterday? It’s hardly like Mykhailo Mudryk, Marc Cucurella and Benoit Badiashile (the players they would likely replace) were the main issues, it was a collective failure of nerve, and shuffling players in and out can only help so much.

What we need is a total mentality shift – and that’s hard to pull off in a few days.

  1. Don’t you just hate it when teams lose 2-2 what amateur reporting and not the first time, I guess proof reading is not your strong point.

  2. The last time out against Utd our midfield were absolutely shredded with Palmer playing in place of the suspended Gallagher. It’s going to be essential that we find some solidity there this time around and make it far tougher for them to play through us. If we can force them to attack down the wings then we have a good chance of getting a result.

  3. Really Chelsea is kicking defense that’s the only challenge attacking they can attack but to score a goal is a problem to them.players like chalobha and chukwuemeka needs to be substituted early 60 ‘ but all in All the defense and attack should be put correctly

  4. See the time when they played with Leicester,Leeds and Newcastle it was something good.atleast that squared of the 3 matches was better.its not good to loose points to a team which got a Red card.u imagine that.
