Schurrle will be key this season

Two weeks ago Andre Schurrle returned to Cobham a World Cup winner. He was utilized as an impact substitute for Joachim Loew’s Germany, and he was brilliant during the competition.

On Monday night, Andre Schurrle proved once again that he is capable of supplying the finish to a Chelsea move. Schurrle’s style of play, direct pace, running in behind provides the perfect recipe as Jose Mourinho aims for his third Premier League trophy and Chelsea’s fourth.

With new signing Cesc Fabregas in the middle of the Chelsea team, Schurrle will score a lot of goals this season. Fabregas’ ability to pick out that killer pass from nowhere will mean that Mourinho encourages Schurrle to run, and run he will.

The German international has shown time and time again in Chelsea and Germany colours that he is fully capable of providing a great finish. Schurrle has made 42 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions to date, scoring 10 goals. Impressive for a winger playing in a foreign country for the first time.

Schurrle will kick on this season and score 15-20, especially if Fabregas creates the passes for him to run onto.
