One Chelsea player has reportedly aimed a pointed jibe Maurizio Sarri’s way, suggesting the Blues manager doesn’t even know his name.
This comes in a generally damning report on life at Chelsea under the Italian tactician from the London Evening Standard.

Sarri started brightly at Stamford Bridge this season, but the team’s recent form has left much to be desired.
In truth, Chelsea do not seem to have made nearly enough progress since last season’s underwhelming campaign under Antonio Conte.
While Sarri has improved some aspects of the way the side plays, the Standard’s report suggests his training methods are similarly draining to Conte’s, with many players unconvinced by his methods.
The piece references the fact that the former Napoli boss’ lack of rotation means there’s little motivation from the club’s fringe players to perform.
That’s where the line from one player comes in as he suggests Sarri doesn’t even know who he is.
All in all, worrying times for Chelsea, who just can’t seem to get things right on or off the pitch at the moment.
