Arturo Vidal is set to to follow Antonio Conte this summer by making the switch to London and joining Chelsea, reports respected journalist David Amoyal.
Chelsea director Emenalo was in Turin tonight to watch Juventus’ Champions League match against Bayern Munich as he wanted to scout the Chilean personally.
Chelsea officials will also meet Antonio Conte in London on Thursday to discuss the details of his proposed contract with the aim to complete the deal for him to manage Chelsea from next season. The club are said to be keen on appointing a manager for next season before March with Conte leading the way.
Diego Simeone is the only other potential manager for Chelsea next season as Allegri is expected to stay at Juventus and sign an improved contract. However  Sampaoli and Pochettino are said to be backup options if the deal for Conte and talks with Simeone fall through.
