According to Antonio Rudiger’s agent, Sahr Senesie, the Bundesliga defender has been approached by both Chelsea and Wolfsburg. The German defender is currently part of Stuttgart’s back line that conceded 60 goals in the Bundesliga, but apart from being part of such a leaky defence, Rudiger himself is thought of to be quite a solid defender.
At only 22 years of age, Rudi still has his whole career ahead of him and he surely won’t want to spend it at Stuttgart. According to whoscored.com, Rudiger averages a solid 1.7 tackles per game along with 5.3 clearances. 2 attributes that are considered key in order to be a defender in a league as tough as the Premier League.
A move to London may be in Rudiger’s future as long as he doesn’t opt to go to Bundesliga rivals, Wolfsburg; furthermore, there are rumours that Rudiger may be interested in staying in the Bundesliga. Currently there is no price set on the young German defender though.
