Former Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has suggested that Arsenal should acquire the services of Petr Cech.
Cech made a declaration last week that his days at Chelsea are numbered, as he is fed up with been a second choice to Thibaut Courtois. As a result Cudicini has encouraged the Gunners to go in for his former teammate to help stabilise their defence.
The former Chelsea shot-stopper also disclosed that the North London side have had goalkeeping problems recently, therefore, signing the 32-year-old would be a good decision by Arsene Wenger’s side.
“Arsenal have had a few problems with goalkeepers after [David] Seaman and [Jens] Lehmann,” Cudicini told talkSPORT in an interview.
[Wojciech] Szczesny is still struggling to impose himself as number one, so if a goalkeeper like Petr Cech is available in the summer, obviously he should be a big target for Arsenal.
