Mourinho: Remy or Drogba to start on Wednesday

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that either Remy or Drogba will start Chelsea’s Barclays Premier League game upfront against Tottenham on Wednesday.

He went on to explain that this will give Remy and Drogba a chance to display their talent and for Costa to get a rest, Mourinho was also of the opinion that they are not afraid of injuries and suspensions.

“I’ll play Loic Remy or Didier Drogba instead, they have an opportunity to play on Wednesday as Costa is suspended. We don’t cry about injuries and suspensions, and missing out will mean Costa is fresh to face Newcastle next Weekend.”

ChelseaÂ’s leading goal scorer Diego Costa is suspended for the game due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

The London derby on Wednesday night promises to be exciting as Spurs are looking for another win after an impressive win over Everton, while the Blues are also looking to continue their unbeaten streak in the league.

Chelsea are top of the English Premier League table with 33 points after 13 matches and are unbeaten this season, Tottenham lie in seventh position after 13 games with 20 points.
